Material weights entered on the Material Sheet is automatically transferred to the
Material Cost Sheet. The estimator can than apply a cost per
pound for each type of material. Notice there are two additional
categories for Bent Plate and Rolled Material. These weights are supplied
for labor pricing consideration only. The weight of these
items is already calculated into the appropriate AISC category above for
weight pricing. Weights are transferred to these locations as a result of
selecting Bent or Rolled in the
S/C column on the Material Sheet. All
material costs are totaled and brought forward to the Cost Recap Sheet
along with a total material weight and average material cost per pound.
