If a type of material is entered that is not contained in the Parts
Database (by the way, the Parts Database is populated with AISC data for
Wide Flange, S Shape, Channel, Angle, Tees, Tube, Round HSS, Pipe, Plate,
and Rod), the estimator is allowed to define characteristics of the
material. A dialog box (shown below) will appear and the estimator
can select the material definition and enter its associated properties.
